Mr. Basri has been designing and implementing software and process improvement for financial institutions for over 35 years. He has worked with, and gained experience from, over 500 institutions both domestically and internationally. From the beginning Mr. Basri has believed that implementing software should always be a good business decision. • Graduated Stanford University in 1976.
• Spent nine years working for banks in Oregon and New Mexico. Left as VP of Electronic Banking and the founding director of The Exchange, a shared ATM network. Was responsible for implementing ATM and branch automation systems, as well as Branch Certification and Teller Performance Measurement processes.
• For 12 years Mr. Basri worked for three companies that developed and sold automation products and software to financial institutions. He designed and/or oversaw development for products in branch automation (teller, platform, lending), remittance processing and check processing including high speed imaging systems.
• Mr. Basri founded and has been President of Point Enterprises since 1996. PEI offers StaffPro® and NetXed® software products that it developed, custom software and technology consulting for banks, credit unions and other companies that serve the financial services industry.
