• Graduated Stanford University in 1976.
• Spent nine years working for banks in Oregon and New Mexico. Left as VP of Electronic Banking and the founding director of The Exchange, a shared ATM network. Was responsible for implementing ATM and branch automation systems, as well as Branch Certification and Teller Performance Measurement processes.
• For 12 years Mr. Basri worked for three companies that developed and sold automation products and software to financial institutions. He designed and/or oversaw development for products in branch automation (teller, platform, lending), remittance processing and check processing including high speed imaging systems.
• Mr. Basri founded and has been President of Point Enterprises since 1996. PEI offers StaffPro® and NetXed® software products that it developed, custom software and technology consulting for banks, credit unions and other companies that serve the financial services industry.
