David Dean

David Dean is the Director of Business Affairs for CU Wallet, a collaborative, mobile wallet venture serving credit unions.

Mr. Dean joined CU Wallet in 2014 and is responsible for managing the company’s operations and business development, including strategic partnerships with the best-of-breed technology providers.  Mr. Dean leverages CU Wallet’s cooperative research and development and collective credit union membership base to evaluate, select, negotiate and secure favorably priced integrations of value added product features.

Prior to joining CU Wallet, Mr. Dean was a Vice President with Turner, under the Time Warner umbrella, where he was responsible for the development and acquisition of original content for truTV and strategic partnerships with third party content providers.  Mr. Dean’s experience with industrial disruption brought on by new digital distribution channels and his passion for combining humanity with science to produce great products, provide CU Wallet with unique and creative insight into the emerging mobile payments marketplace.
