Devon Lyon

Devon Lyon, a NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO), was named director of education in August 2015. In this newly created position, Lyon oversees the development and administration of content for education programs for NAFCU members to further the association’s goals and to ensure that the programs have the highest professional content and quality. Prior to joining NAFCU, Lyon was director of compliance and Bank Secrecy Act and project management at State Department Federal Credit Union. In that role, he developed, implemented and led State Department FCU’s core conversion.

Lyon holds a law degree from Albany Law School of Union University and has a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Binghamton University.
