Katy Zaleski has over a decade of experience driving strategic initiatives across departments, playing a critical role in shaping workplace culture and leading comprehensive organizational development. Katy brings a deep understanding of the relationships, context, and commitment required to serve credit unions at an even higher level and to guide teams through complex organizational change. Her career is a blend of philanthropy and credit union service, beginning on the front lines as a Head Teller and progressing into an Information Technology Core Systems Specialist role, where she led key initiatives in process improvement, operational efficiency, and systems integration. Her path then led to organizational development and Human Resources leadership, where it is her privilege to walk alongside leaders as they navigate structural shifts, grow, stretch, and achieve their broader strategic goals. Her work reflects a deep passion for the philosophy of people helping people, and she is dedicated to building workplace ecosystems that empower teams. To support her passion for serving others, Katy has pursued extensive education and training. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She is a Certified Coach through the Association for Talent Development and holds a Debriefing and Coaching and Employee Development accreditations from Harrison Assessments. Further reflecting her deep commitment to the credit union movement, she is a Certified Creating Member Loyalty Coach through America’s Credit Unions and a Credit Union Development Educator through the National Credit Union Foundation.
