Mr. Moon has been active in the national small business market for over 39 years. Before joining MBL, he was a Senior Vice President of Zion’s First National Bank where he designed and implemented virtually all aspects of the bank’s small business program, including marketing, processing, closing and securitizing the bank’s 7(a) & 504 small business portfolios.
Prior to his time at Zion’s Bank, Mr. Moon served as District Director of SBA’s Utah District where he was responsible for SBA loan programs. Mr. Moon’s directorship followed many SBA leadership and community positions, including service as Financial Analyst/Senior Technical Advisor for SBA headquarters in Washington, D.C., where he developed many policies and procedures that still govern SBA lending nationwide.
Mr. Moon is a nationally recognized authority in small business development and commercial lending. Mr. Moon has also written numerous articles and books on small business and American Capitalism.
