CUNA Mutual Group

Laurie Winger is the executive vice president and chief financial and product officer for CUNA Mutual Group – an insurance and financial services company headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin. Winger leads the financial management of the organization and oversees the company’s domestic product portfolio, along with the CUNA Caribbean business.

Winger joined CUNA Mutual Group in 1990 as a corporate accountant. She became cost and budget supervisor in 1995, joined Sales Finance in 1996, and was named senior financial officer of Sales & Marketing in 2003. Prior to accepting her current role, Winger served for two years as the product executive for Lenders Protection, four years as vice president of Strategy & Market Insight, and three subsequent years as senior vice president of Planning and Business Finance.

Winger earned a bachelor’s degree in Administration and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She received the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 1993 and the Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) designation in 1995.

Winger serves on the Board of Directors for MEMBERS Development Company and CUNA Caribbean Insurance. In addition, she sits on various committees and internal boards.
