Missoula Federal Credit Union selects Jack Lawson as new President/CEO

The Board of Directors of Missoula Federal Credit Union (MFCU) selected Jack Lawson as CEO/President to replace the current CEO/President, Gary Clark, who is retiring in September after 18 years with the credit union.

Lawson is originally from Vermont. He attended school in the New York City area. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Environmental Studies and a Master’s in Development Studies with additional Master’s work in Economics.

Lawson has been involved in the credit union movement since 1999 when he began working as CEO for a community development credit union in Brooklyn, New York. Since 2008, Lawson has been the Chief Operating Officer for Self-Help Federal Credit Union, also a community development credit union, with assets of over $600 million located in Berkley, CA.

Lawson will take the helm of MFCU on September 9th, 2013.
