Align Credit Union supports the Arc’s Candlelight Ball

LOWELL, MA (June 9, 2014) — Align Credit Union proudly supported the Arc of Greater Haverhill-Newburyport’s 52nd Annual Candlelight Ball held on May 2, 2014.

The Arc of Greater Haverhill-Newburyport is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit which was founded in 1962.  The heart of the organization is to advocate with and for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families throughout the Merrimack Valley and seacoast communities. For the past 52 years, the Arc has customized services to nurture the development and self-discovery of those with developmental disabilities.  One of their main events is the Candlelight Ball.  This year over 200 people were in attendance celebrating with a meal, inspiring speeches and a night of dancing.  The Candlelight Ball serves as a main fundraiser for the organization.

“We are pleased to support the Arc of Greater Haverhill-Newburyport.  This innovative organization recognizes and supports every person’s unique gifts and talents and encourages them to pursue their dreams,” said Align President and CEO Ken Del Rossi. “Align is proud to be involved with such a dedicated organization.”
