802 Credit Union celebrates 2nd Annual 802 Day with charitable giving campaign
BRATTLEBORO, VT (July 30, 2024) — On August 2, 2024, 802 Credit Union proudly celebrates the 2nd Annual 802 Day in Vermont. This unique celebration, held on the 2nd of August, or 8/02, pays homage to Vermont’s sole area code, and it is a way to celebrate the Credit Union’s brand.
“On 802 Day, we proudly celebrate the spirit of Vermont and the values that define 802 Credit Union,” said Stacey Benoit, COO at 802 Credit Union. “This special day—8/02—symbolizes our commitment to our community, and to our membership. At 802 Credit Union, we’re dedicated to fostering financial
well-being and supporting our members with the same warmth and resilience that Vermont is known for. We take pride in our ability to make heartfelt donations throughout our communities we serve and for staff to embrace and celebrate the uniqueness of our members,” continued Benoit.
802 Day was originally established to encourage all Vermonters to care for each other through random acts of kindness. 802 Credit Union invites all Vermont citizens to join the celebration by performing acts of generosity in their communities.
