A+ Federal Credit Union awards $50,000 in scholarships to 25 Austin area high school and college students

AUSTIN, TX (April 20, 2015) — The A+ Federal Credit Union (A+FCU) Board of Directors awarded $50,000 in scholarships to 25 Austin area high school and college students.

Each student received $2,000 to help with educational expenses. The winners were selected for their outstanding academic achievement, as well as for their community involvement. This year’s winners represent a myriad of area school districts, including Austin, Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Georgetown, Hays, Leader, Liberty Hill, Pflugerville, Round Rock, San Marcos and Thrall, as well as five different universities.
