ABNB relocating it’s Sewell’s Point branch to Ward’s Corner
CHESAPEAKE, VA (November 8, 2022) — As part of our ongoing process of re-structuring our branch network, ABNB’s Sewell’s Point branch will be relocated to the nearby, highly populated Ward’s Corner retail area in Norfolk in the Spring of 2023. To accommodate this move, the Sewell’s Point building will be sold.
The new Ward’s Corner branch will provide improved convenience and visibility in a newly furnished, modern banking environment. Renovations will begin soon, and official grand opening plans will be announced in early 2023.
Charles A. Mallon, Jr., President and CEO, stated, “We are extremely pleased to be making these positive steps that will provide greater access for our existing and new prospective members. This move and sale will also allow us to elevate our service levels and introduce more people to the ABNB brand. In addition, I am proud to say that all staff will be retained and reassigned to other service locations.”
