In order to help those facing hardship amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Addition Financial has donated more than $30,000 to local non-profits to support their emergency funds for students and staff, food banks and other areas of need.
The credit union’s donations have supported A Gift For Teaching, Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools, Education Foundation of Osceola County, Education Foundation of Lake County, UCF Foundation, Foundation for Seminole State College and Valencia College Foundation.
“We know our community is under enormous stress and is facing significant hardship. Our choices have the potential to meaningfully help those who need it the most. Addition Financial has also taken measures to ensure that members are able to manage their finances with fewer worries about loan payments. In addition, the credit union remains open to serve members, offering extended drive-thru hours and providing specific in-branch services by appointment only. Credit union members can also access their accounts through mobile and online banking, and can use their Addition Financial debit cards at any Presto! ATM surcharge-free.
