LAFAYETTE, LA (August 2, 2021) — Advancial Federal Credit Union is excited to officially launch the Swipe and Support campaign to help raise funds for Downtown Lafayette’s Parc Sans Souci Play initiative. From August 1 through October 31, Advancial members can help support this project by using their Advancial Visa® Rewards Plus credit card. A percentage of every purchase during the campaign will be donated to Parc Sans Souci Play.
Advancial’s Community Development Manager Lacey Maynor is excited to play a part in the improvements to Downtown Lafayette. “The Parc Sans Souci Play project will only enhance the revitalization efforts the area has seen over the past few years and offer a fun new space for all of the events and programming offered downtown,” she said. “We’ve been working on the details for several months now and it’s been really hard to keep it quiet!”
This project will focus on funding a new, all-inclusive playground that will tie into existing infrastructure, including the stage and splash pad, to create an activity hub where the community can naturally gather for daily activities.

With several thousand residents and hundreds of businesses, it is Downtown Lafayette’s goal to maintain focus on the surrounding community and those that will continue to establish Parc Sans Souci as a neighborhood park.
“Now, nearly 20 years since being built, our parks are in need of upgrades to infrastructure, as well as new strategies and investment to increase activation,” says Jamie Hebert, Director of Programming and Engagement for Downtown Lafayette Unlimited. “Parc Sans Souci Play will unite all ages and abilities in play in the heart of Lafayette and we are so excited to have the community join us in this legacy project!”
