Affinity Plus Foundation’s new website offers online financial education resources and tools

New website features fresh design and intuitive navigation to financial education grant and scholarship opportunities, events, resources, and more.

ST. PAUL, MN (April 8, 2015) — To further reach communities across Minnesota and beyond, the Affinity Plus Foundation is pleased to announce its new website www.affinityplusfoundation.org. The site features online applications for scholarships and grants, event registration, and educational resources for students, adults, and educators.

“We are delighted to launch our website at a time when support of financial education is needed and relevant in our communities,” said Amy Hanson, Executive Director. “We believe this site will allow us greater reach and impact across the state.”

The Affinity Plus Foundation was established in late 2000 to support financial literacy efforts in Minnesota and provide scholarship opportunities to Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union members. Today, the Foundation awards thousands of dollars in grants to teachers, schools and other nonprofits in support of financial education, and is a trusted resource for financial literacy. The mission “to enhance the quality of life in Minnesota communities through partnership in financial education, programs and support” is alive and well in the new website and Foundation efforts.
