Akcelerant and Genesys further partnership, offer text capabilities
Automated Text Messaging is now available within the Akcelerant Framework collection solution
MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA (June 24, 2014) — Akcelerant, a provider of software and services to the financial industry, has broadened its partnership with Genesys, a leading provider of multi-channel customer experience and contact center solutions, to provide automated text messaging services within the Akcelerant Framework collection solution.
This enhancement provides new functionality which is being introduced in direct response to the overwhelming amount of interest expressed by Framework customers. The added text messaging capabilities offer Framework collection customers an additional touch point to communicate with account holders. This capability can be used as its own campaign or in conjunction with Proactive Communications via Voice Messaging from Genesys, allowing for a blended approach to receive maximum results. Text messages are free to the end user for supported mobile carriers and help streamline the communication process. Included among the notifications available in this new channel, a ‘Suspicious Activity’ alert can be sent in the event of a card breach, which will serve to boost account security.

You can reach someone in a meeting, on a date, in another country, and yet still not cause friction because you are not interrupting their daily routine,” SVP of Analysis, Larry Edgar-Smith points out. “The use of proactive text messaging within the connector is actually quite simple, and functions similar to the existing proactive voice messaging from Genesys. Users create a queue in the Framework to determine which accounts should be targeted for contact, and use the Genesys solution to take care of sending out the texts.
