Akcelerant awarded ‘Corporate Partner of the Year’ by United Way

Local charity honors Akcelerant’s efforts to give back to the community

MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA (August 28, 2014) — Akcelerant, a provider of software and services to the financial industry, was recognized last week at the United Way of Chester County’s 2013 Awards Ceremony. United Way is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving education and financial stability in local communities while aiding at-risk youth and adults. Akcelerant was acknowledged for its community involvement and annual support, one of only two companies to receive the award this year.

“I look forward to working with Akcelerant every year,” shares Manager, Business Relations at the United Way of Chester County, Toren Peterson. “They are one of the few companies I work with which run a year-long fundraising campaign with events throughout. They put a lot of hard work into raising awareness, right from onboarding new employees.”
