Akcelerant hosts eighth annual customer educational conference
MALVERN, PA (May 20, 2014) — Akcelerant, a leading provider of software and services to the financial industry, successfully convened for its 2014 Customer Educational Conference last week. Over 240 Akcelerant Framework collection and lending customers, and representatives from 15 Akcelerant partners and industry leading service providers, gathered at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing from May 12-14 for three jam-packed days of product training, industry education, and networking.
True to its name, the educational conference concentrated on Framework product training. Attendees were divided into specialized tracks based on product usage, each comprised of both classroom and computer lab breakout sessions. Additionally, conference goers had the opportunity to learn about several industry topics pertaining to regulation changes, geo-location through internet applications and social media, and general collection and lending best practices for 2014. Featured presenters included this year’s keynote speaker, Dennis Dollar of Dollar Associates, Michèle Stuart of JAG Investigations, and Michael Croal of Cornerstone Advisors. Participants also had the chance to mingle at several networking events located throughout the city, including Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes and the Independence Seaport Museum.
