Align Credit Union awards scholarship to Greater Lowell Technical High School senior

(May 27, 2015) — Align Credit Union is proud to announce they have awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Krystal Sylvester, a senior at the Greater Lowell Technical High School. Ms. Sylvester will be attending the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston this fall. She will be majoring in graphic design.

Over the past 21 years, Align has awarded over 240 scholarships to local students. The program awards $12,000 in scholarships annually and has been expanded to include local high schools.

Applicants were required to submit an application, high school transcript, two letters of recommendation, a personal resume and an essay of 200 words or less that describes how credit unions positively impact their community.

“Align is committed to helping our Members achieve their goals,” said Align President Ken Del Rossi. “Our scholarship program allows us to help younger Members pursue their dreams of higher education.”
