Align Credit Union continues to support the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell

LOWELL, MA (June 25, 2015) — Align Credit Union is proud to announce that they have made a donation to The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell to support their summer food program. This donation comes after having a great experience serving dinner to the Club’s children on May 26th.

Founded over a century ago, The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell has become a leading example of educational, social and cultural growth for youth between the ages of seven and eighteen. Motivated by its mission statement, “To inspire and enable young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens through dedicated staff and innovative programs, provided in a safe environment,” the organization has become a staple within the community. The BGCGL supplies the kids with a multitude of opportunities for planning, community contributions, educational enhancement, creativity and entertainment.

“We thank Align Credit Union and their staff for making a generous donation to our summer food program,” said BGCGL Executive Director, Joe Hungler. “We enjoyed having them in our kitchen and appreciate their support for the kids at the Club.”

“Our senior managers really made a connection with the children at the Club and wanted their support to go beyond the dinner on May 26th,” said Align President Ken Del Rossi. “Align is committed to helping The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell so they can continue to make such a difference in the community.”
