Align Credit Union senior managers visit The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell

LOWELL, MA (June 10, 2015) – Align Credit Union Senior Managers were honored to volunteer their time on May 26, 2015 to serve dinner to the children of The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell.

Tom Hammond, EVP/CFO and Board Member for BGCGL; Sue Morison, SVP Operations; Joanne McCarthy, SVP Retail; Kelly Davidson, VP Human Resources; Jim Sullivan, VP Community Development and Corporator for BGCGL; Sue Gill, VP Accounting; Maryann Bedard, VP Consumer Lending; Mark Palermo, VP Finance all lent a hand distributing meals that included a fruit or vegetable, whole grains and milk. The BGCGL’s healthy dinner is part of the over 200 daily meals provided to the children with the hope of achieving a healthy lifestyle.

Founded over a century ago, The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell has become a leading example of educational, social and cultural growth for youth between the ages of seven and eighteen. Motivated by its mission statement, “To inspire and enable young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens through dedicated staff and innovative programs, provided in a safe environment,” the organization has become a staple within the community. The BGCGL supplies the kids with a multitude of opportunities for planning, community contributions, educational enhancement, creativity and entertainment.
