Allegacy Federal Credit Union announces new hire

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (June 18, 2015) — Allegacy Federal Credit Union announced that Brad Bumgarner has joined the Allegacy Business Solutions, commercial banking team as a commercial banking officer.

Bumgarner has 20 years’ experience in the financial industry holding various positions including business banker, branch manager and loan officer. He has extensive knowledge in lending services and is responsible for originating, underwriting and approving commercial loans for Allegacy member companies. He is also tasked to collaborate with those businesses, strengthening relationships, ultimately helping them make smart financial choices.

Bumgarner earned a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University of Parkersburg.

“With Brad’s vast experience and longevity in the Triad marketplace, we are excited for him to share his knowledge with Allegacy commercial businesses,” said Rob Thomas, vice president of commercial banking. “His capabilities will be a great resource for our member companies as they grow their businesses.”

Bumgarner serves members at Allegacy locations in Greensboro, 3314 Battleground Avenue, and the Winston-Salem headquarters located 1691 Westbrook Plaza Drive.
