Alliant Credit Union now offering student consolidation loans

DUBUQUE, IA (August 18, 2014) — Alliant Credit Union and its division, Health Services Credit Union, introduced a new product for student loan borrowers, the Unified Student Consolidation Loan.  This loan will offer relief to members with high-interest student loans; by consolidating them into one loan, members may save on interest payments and pay the loan off sooner.

Alliant Credit Union’s goal when creating the Unified Student Consolidation Loan was to bring relief to borrowers with the ever-rising cost of post-secondary education.  “Trustworthy student consolidation loans are hard to come by, but, here at Alliant Credit Union, we’re excited to bring this program to the table.  The application process is easy to understand and the rates and terms are provided upfront,” commented Mike Moroney, President/CEO of Alliant Credit Union.

The Unified Student Consolidation Loan is a low-rate loan that offers members an option to have a cosigner or no cosigner.  In addition to the student consolidation loan, Alliant Credit Union also offers a private student loan option for borrowers currently enrolled in a post-secondary school.

Those interested in more information on the loan or wanting to apply for Alliant Credit Union’s Unified Student Consolidation Loan must first meet membership criteria.  Membership guidelines can be found by visiting www.alliantcu.com or by contacting the Credit Union directly at (563) 585-3737 or (800) 928-4328.
