Altura Credit Union holiday food drive benefits local non-profits
RIVERSIDE, CA (January 13, 2014) —
Members and employees of Altura Credit Union donated hundreds of non-perishable food items to local charitable, non-profit and educational organizations through its sixth annual Holiday Canned Food Drive.
Donations were collected at each of Altura’s nine branches in Riverside County, as well as the Member Service Center (which collected the most items), and the Operations and Technology Center (OTC). Employees at each location selected the recipient for their location’s donations. This year’s recipients included:

Second Harvest 14th Street Branch, Riverside
Take a Bite Out of Hunger (Riverside) Magnolia Avenue Branch, Riverside
Family Services Association Canyon Springs Branch, Moreno Valley
Settlement House of Corona/Norco Corona Plaza Branch, Corona
Jacob Wiens Elementary School West Hemet Branch, Hemet
Agua Caliente Elementary School Rancho Mirage Branch, Rancho Mirage
Martha’s Village and Kitchen Indio Branch, Indio
Community Food Pantry of Murrieta Murrieta Hot Springs Branch, Murrieta
Member Service Center and OTC Edgemont Elementary School
