Altura Credit Union participates in Latina Conference of 2014

RIVERSIDE, CA (May 13, 2014) — A team from Altura Credit Union recently participated in the Latina Conference of 2014 and the recognition of “Hispanic Lifestyle’s” 2014 Latinas of Influence for their contributions in business, community service, entertainment and education.

Altura was also a sponsor for the day-long conference, which included panel discussions on Latinas in business, entertainment and the community, as well as networking opportunities and exhibitors. Held during Women’s History Month (April), the event honors 31 women as Latinas of Influence.

“This annual conference provides an opportunity for Altura to acknowledge the important role of Latinas in our businesses, schools andcommunities,” said Jennifer Binkley, Altura chief operating officer.  “This event features inspiring women who are role models for women everywhere.”
