American 1 CU Donated World Series Tickets for Food Drive

JACKSON, Mich. – American 1 Credit Union is dedicated to the communities they serve and feel strongly about giving back.  On Friday, October 26 from 6am to 10am, American 1 Credit Union and K105.3 held a food drive at the Polly’s Country Market on Spring Arbor Road.

For every non-perishable item donated, community members received one entry into a drawing for four box seat tickets to Saturday’s World Series Tiger’s Game, donated by American 1 Credit Union.

10,035 non-perishable food items were donated, and were delivered to the Salvation Army immediately following the food drive & ticket giveaway.  The Salvation Army staff members were overwhelmed and relieved with the amount of food donated by the people of Jackson, and surrounding cities.  The Salvation Army was really low on supplies, until today.

Jason L. of Jackson won the coveted Tiger’s Tickets.  He will be sitting 16 rows up behind home plate.  Jason donated 144 non-perishable food items, giving him 144 entries into the day’s drawing.
