American 1 returns to extended evening drive-thru hours May 18

JACKSON, MI (May 14, 2020) — On Monday, May 18, American 1 will return to their extended evening drive-thru hours. While lobbies will remain closed until further notice, members will be able to visit American 1 drive-thrus during their convenient, extended evening hours, with most branches staying open until 7pm on weekdays.

“During these uncertain times, we are focused on how to best serve our members and maintain the well-being of our staff,” said Martha Fuerstenau, President/CEO of American 1. “We’ve reached a point where we able and comfortable returning to our extended evening hours at all of our drive-thru locations. As we work through these trying times together, we thank you for your membership and continued patience.”

Below are the updated hours for drive-thru locations (all lobbies remain closed until further notice).

  • Battle Creek – Mon-Fri  9a-7p  |  Sat 9a-4p
  • Hillsdale – Mon-Fri  9a-7p  |  Sat 9a-4p
  • Parnall – Mon-Fri  9a-7p  |  Sat 9a-4p
  • North Street – Mon-Fri  9a-7p  |  Sat 9a-4p
  • Vandercook – Mon-Fri  9a-7p  |  Sat 9a-4p
  • Manchester – Mon-Fri  9a-7p  |  Sat 9a-4p
  • Michigan Center – Mon-Fri  9a-7p  |  Sat 9a-4p
  • Spring Arbor – Mon-Fri  9a-7p  |  Sat 9a-4p

American 1 is also equipped to handle the majority of essential banking services remotely through Online Banking, the American 1 Mobile App (with mobile check deposit), their 24-hour Contact Center and other self-service options.

Member cash needs can be met with drive-thru services and American 1’s extensive network of no-surcharge ATMs. American 1’s website, american1cu.org, is continuously updated to maintain a current listing of all operating drive-thru and ATM locations.
