American Heritage Credit Union named 2019 Training Department of the Year winner

PHILADELPHIA, PA (November 19, 2019) — American Heritage Credit Union (American Heritage) was recently honored as the 2019 Training Department of the Year winner at the CUNA ELLy awards on October 20, 2019. The CUNA ELLy awards recognize and honor credit union staff that develop innovative and unique training initiatives to drive progress in the credit union movement.

“Trainers are among the first people that new hires meet, so having the right team can put an employee’s entire career on track for success,” says Flora Caranci, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Training. “We’re incredibly proud of our Training Department and commend them for their knowledge, approachability, and positive attitudes.” Winners were determined by a panel of judges and were celebrated at a ceremony during CUNA Experience Learning Live! American Heritage’s Training Department was recognized for its various training initiatives, including custom e-learning, university training program, instructor-led programs, and employee testimonials.

“Credit union trainers excel at finding creative solutions to the challenges that our industry faces. Their collaboration to build employee and member loyalty exemplifies credit unions at their best. The CUNA Elly Awards recognize and share those incredible wins,” says Tobi Weingart, program manager of Experience Learning Live!
