American Partners FCU opens branch in old Fidelity building

Affordable Financial Solutions coming to Franklin County

Southwest Virginia is home to many things – Virginia’s Blue Ridge, the birthplace of Booker T. Washington, and the moonshine capital of the world. Now, American Partners Federal Credit Union is making Rocky Mount home.

“We are delighted to serve our current and new members within Southwest Virginia and the new opportunities to help the community shine financially,” said APFCU CEO Brian Bone.

In discussing the benefits of becoming a member at APFCU, Bone notes that they will be bringing CO-OP® Shared Branching to the community, which has more than 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs and 5,000+ branch locations nationwide. With this service, members will be able to utilize other credit unions to perform a range of transactions when they commute, travel, or move.

“For our members that work outside the county but live in or near Rocky Mount, this will give them the flexibility to bank wherever they go” Bone said.

APFCU has plans to become an active member of the Rocky Mount community in more ways than providing affordable financial solutions to residents. APFCU is committed to all things local and hired some of their first employees from Ferrum College graduates. APFCU offers consumer, mortgage, home equity, land, investment real estate loans as well as SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans.
