America's Christian Credit Union (ACCU) is a faith-based financial institution committed to advancing God's kingdom through mission-aligned service to members, ministries, and communities nationwide. During ACCU's 61st Annual Membership Meeting held on April 25, 2019, where another record-setting year of growth was celebrated, Sylvia Nash and David Morse were re-elected to serve three-year terms on the credit union's volunteer Board of Directors.
Preceding the Membership Meeting, the Board of Directors held its re-organizational meeting, at which time these officers appointments were made:
- Dr. Kevin Mannoia, Board Chair
- Dr. Barbara Dickerson, Vice Chair
- Sylvia Nash, Secretary
- Mendell L. Thompson, Treasurer | President/CEO
With the announcements, President/CEO Thompson said, "This is an exciting time for the credit union, and I know these board members will make the best decisions for our future growth and overall membership. I look forward to working with Kevin as the new Board Chair. I greatly appreciate his vision, insight, and commitment to lead the volunteer Board of Directors and help drive ACCU's continued growth and success. It is a unique opportunity to work with a board that is entirely made up of volunteer members of the credit union. We are thankful for the dedication and commitment that each one of them gives to the credit union."
