AmFirst celebrates members across 21 branch locations during 2025 Member Appreciation Week

BIRMINGHAM, AL (July 24, 2025) |

AmFirst hosted a week of festivities from July 14 through July 18, 2025, to show  appreciation for its membership. More than 1,500 members participated in Member Appreciation Week events  across all 21 branch locations.

Each day, celebrations began at 11 a.m., and members were welcomed with Frios Popsicles, snacks, unique  AmFirst Membership Appreciation Mugs, giveaways, and more, all while supplies lasted. Throughout the week,  each branch awarded a Stanley Cooler, an AmFirst Tumbler, and a $100 gift card to lucky members.

“Membership Appreciation Week allows AmFirst to celebrate the heart of the Credit Union,” said Kevin Morris,  President and CEO of AmFirst. “The members of AmFirst put their trust in us, and we want to thank them and  show how much they are appreciated. Reconnecting with our members during this week reminds us of the values  we share as a community. Hearing stories from people with decades-long membership at AmFirst speaks to the  relationships we’ve built with individuals and the entire community.”

AmFirst is committed to giving back to its members. With many credit unions to choose from, both locally  and nationally, AmFirst is grateful members continue to choose them. This year marks the second year of the  revitalized Member Appreciation celebration, which is especially meaningful after the challenges of the pandemic,  when in-person events were not possible.

AmFirst looks forward to building on the momentum of the past two years and continuing to make Member  Appreciation Week an even bigger and more personal tradition. Next year’s celebrations will be especially  significant, as they will be part of AmFirst’s 90th anniversary festivities.
