Andrews Federal Credit Union announces changes to Board of Directors

SUITLAND, MD (June 30, 2021) — Andrews Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Chairman of the Board, Dail Turner, new Board Secretary, Sharon Dunbar, and new Board member, Natasha Taylor.

On June 21, 2021, the Credit Union’s Board of Directors elected Dail Turner as its new Chairman. Turner takes over from Frank Cardile who retired from the Board after serving 28 years. Turner is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, the National War College and holds graduate degrees from George Washington University and Georgetown University. He is the owner of Muddy Hope Farms in North Carolina and has over 20 years of Wall Street experience.

Current Board member, Sharon Dunbar, was named Board Secretary. Dunbar joined the Credit Union’s Board in 2019. She retired in 2014 as a USAF Major General and as Commander of the Air Force District of Washington. A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Sharon was in the third class of women accepted for admission and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and business management. She graduated from the National War College with a master’s degree in National Security Studies, holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from California State University at Long Beach, and completed her doctoral studies in Public Policy at The George Washington University.

Also elected to the Board was Lt. Col. Natasha Taylor. Taylor is the Chief of Strategic Communications for the Joint Staff Logistics Directorate, Arlington, Virginia. Lt. Col. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Workforce Education from Southern Illinois University, a Master of Arts in Human Resource Development from Webster University, and is a Graduate of the Air War College.
