HOLDENVILLE, OK (October 22, 2025) |
Arbuckle Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025–2026 Concurrent Course Scholarships, awarded to local high school students who are taking college classes while still in school.
This year’s scholarship recipients are:
- Kaynan Ring, a junior at Calvin High School
- Kara Mayfield, a senior at Moss High School
- Lani Dentler, a junior at Holdenville High School
Each student will receive up to $600 to help pay for college course fees and textbooks.
“Our goal is to support students who are working hard to get ahead,” said Sharilee Strickland, President and CEO of Arbuckle Federal Credit Union. “These students are taking on college-level work while still in high school, and we’re proud to help make that opportunity more affordable.”
The Arbuckle FCU Concurrent Course Scholarship program provides up to $3,000 in total awards each school year to students attending high school in Hughes or Seminole counties. Scholarships are open to Arbuckle FCU members in good standing and are awarded based on a written essay and counselor recommendation.
“At Arbuckle, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve,” Strickland added. “Helping students pursue higher education is one of the most meaningful ways we can invest in our members and our community’s future.”
