Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union employees volunteer nearly 600 hours at community organizations

DALEVILLE, AL (June 9, 2015) — In the spring of 2015, Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union (AACFCU) employees and their family members volunteered 600 hours in their communities at many different events.

Corporate volunteer projects included:

  • Empty Bowls project with Pike County Salvation Army, Troy, Ala.
  • Alaqua Animal Refuge, Freeport, Fla.
  • Tri Christian Camp, DeFuniak Springs, Fla.
  • SOS Animal Shelter, Enterprise, Ala.
  • Aide for Animals, Enterprise, Ala.
  • Steak and Burger dinner with Ozark Boys and Club, Ozark, Ala.
  • Houston County Spirit of Service Day, Dothan, Ala.
  • Empty Bowls project with Wiregrass Area United Way Food Bank, Dothan, Ala.

AACFCU organizes volunteer projects several times throughout the year for employees and their family members in every AACFCU service area. In 2014, AACFCU employees volunteered over 630 hours in their communities.
