Ascensus Donates Nearly 900 Hours of Service with Volunteer Time Off Program
Dresher, Pennsylvania – January 17, 2012 – Ascensus, a leading retirement plan solutions provider, marked the end of 2011 with the completion of its inaugural Volunteer Time Off (VTO) Program. In 2011, nearly 200 Ascensus employees participated in the program, which provides paid time off for volunteer activities in their surrounding communities.
Driven by the company’s Core Values of People Matter, Quality First and Integrity Always®, the Ascensus VTO program was piloted in 2010 and, based on the positive employee response, fully launched last year. Since January 2011, employees have donated nearly 900 hours of community service to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, United Way, Special Olympics and the Salvation Army.
