Association Says ‘Thanks’ for ‘Likes’ with 12 Days of Giveaways
(Albany, NY) – As a special thanks to the New York credit unionists who have “liked” the Credit Union Association of New York’s Facebook page, the Association is hosting a 12 Days of Giveaways promotion exclusively on Facebook from Dec. 3-14 (http://a.pgtb.me/kzVbkG).
Association member credit union employees or volunteer leaders who are age 16 or older and have “liked” the Association’s Facebook page are eligible to enter. All entrants need to do is fill out and submit a short form located on the Association’s Facebook page by November 30 to be entered in all 12 prize drawings. Those who haven’t already liked the page will be prompted to do so before being eligible to enter.
The giveaways include:
Dec. 3: a Starbucks travel mug and $25 Starbucks gift card;
Dec. 4: a gray cashmere throw from Red Envelope;
Dec. 5: a Kindle Paperwhite;
Dec. 6: a golfer’s cooler bag from Red Envelope;
Dec. 7: a Harry & David Hot Rock Cocoa gift set;
Dec. 8: a 13-inch, hi-res digital photo frame from NIX Digital;
Dec. 9: a camel heather cashmere scarf (unisex) from Banana Republic;
Dec. 10: a silicone spatula set and $50 gift card from Williams-Sonoma;
Dec. 11: a Harry & David Founders’ Favorites Gift Box;
Dec. 12: a Sharper Image wireless Steering Wheel Bluetooth Speakerphone;
Dec. 13: a fully-stocked Red Envelope picnic basket; and
Dec. 14: a Photo Cube Printer.
The winner of each day’s giveaway will be posted on the Association’s Facebook page by 10 a.m. that day, and then contacted via e-mail to arrange for prize delivery, etc.
“Social media has become an integral part of our communications process,” said William J. Mellin, president/CEO of the Association. “We wanted to recognize and thank our members who have chosen to receive and share some of their information through our Facebook page, and thought a promotion of this kind was a great way to do so.”
