Austin Telco FCU connects with AKUVO’s Aperture

AKUVO, a technology organization specializing in credit risk and delinquency management, is pleased to announce the $2.5 billion Austin Telco FCU has selected its Aperture solution.

ATFCU has served the Austin, Texas, area for more than 80 years, and offers membership to individuals and businesses. Its lending shop originates consumer and real estate loans, including commercial real estate. The credit union has a strong reputation for service and was recently named Austin’s Best Credit Union by local media in 2022 for the fourth year in a row.

Empowering members to build strong financial futures while treating all members with dignity and respect is a core value of ATFCU, which makes Aperture’s analytics-driven collection solution a great match. Aperture leverages data and behavior prediction technology to empower collectors to create customized delinquency solutions that maintain a positive member experience while improving outcomes.

“We are committed to the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people’ and extend that culture of caring not just to our members but also our employees. Human capital is an organization’s most valuable asset, and we look forward to providing our collections team with the elevated Aperture experience,” commented Tony Rawls, SVP Lending/CLO at ATFCU.

Aperture improves efficiency and production for collections staff thanks to increased automation, intuitive design and a streamlined approach to specialty processes like bankruptcy. Aperture also improves the ability of department leaders to track team and individual collector progress toward goals in real time.

ATFCU also cited AKUVO’s enhanced service, providing support and guidance for credit unions as they onboard and customize the platform to meet the credit union’s objectives and needs.

“We’re proud to serve the greater Austin area by supporting ATFCU,” remarked AKUVO Chief Operating Officer Steve Castagna. “We look forward to helping this dynamic credit union continue to grow and thrive.”
