Aventa supports the Colorado Springs Heart Walk

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (July 3, 2014) — On June 14, 2014, Aventa Credit Union associates took part in the Colorado Springs Heart Walk benefiting the American Heart Association. Aventa had 18 walkers who were made up of Aventa associates and their family members. Over $300 was raised for the American Heart Association.

This is the fourth straight year that Aventa associates have participated and raised money for the American Heart Association. “We believe in the American Heart Association’s mission to help prevent heart disease and stroke. We are proud to take part of this yearly event. We believe in making a difference in people’s lives, not only financially but as a whole”, said Deb Brown, Aventa’s Vice President of Human Resources and Heart Walk team captain.
