Y-12 Credit Union is proud to announce its recognition as a 2025 Industry Award winner in the financial services industry, and a 2025 Knox News Top Workplaces Regional Award recipient. In addition to these prestigious honors, the Credit Union also earned the Well-being Award, a recognition presented to one regional organization that demonstrates an outstanding commitment to employee well-being. Only 12 specialty awards are given out each year. This marks the second consecutive year the Credit Union has received both national and regional honors—affirming its continued commitment to a people-first workplace culture.
The Industry Award recognizes organizations with 150 or more employees that demonstrate exceptional workplace culture through employee engagement and feedback. Over 42,000 organizations were invited to participate in this year’s selection process.
Regionally, the Knox News Top Workplaces Award celebrates companies with at least 35 employees who excel in creating a positive work environment. Recipients are selected based on employee responses to a confidential survey that evaluates organizational health, employee engagement, and leadership trust.
Both awards are based entirely on employee feedback collected through a third-party survey administered by Energage, a leading human resources research and technology firm. Survey responses are evaluated against key workplace culture metrics that have been proven to drive employee satisfaction and organizational success.
