Bay Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Frank Sanchez to assistant vice president/branch manager of the River Street Branch in Santa Cruz, CA.
Sanchez has excelled in leadership, team building, and member service since joining Bay Federal just under two years ago. He will carry that experience moving forward as he oversees daily operations at the branch in Gateway Plaza.
Sanchez joined Bay Federal in 2017 as the River Street Branch service manager after working at Wells Fargo. He quickly embraced the credit union culture, and recently was honored with the Service Excellence Award in January 2019, Bay Federal’s most prestigious award for employees.
In his new role, Sanchez will be highly focused on exceeding member service standards, achieving branch financial goals, mentoring and developing staff, and becoming an active partner in the community.
“I am extremely excited for this new journey in my professional career,” Sanchez said. “I’ve been in banking for close to 12 years and have always aspired to be a branch manager. I am very eager to utilize all of my experience and knowledge to continue leading and developing a highly engaged team at the River Street Branch location.”
