Belvoir Federal COO invited to attend executive advisory panel
WOODBRIDGE, VA (April 18, 2014) — Belvoir Federal Credit Union’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Patricia Wallace, was selected to attend IWS Executive Advisory Panel (EAP), which is made up of 10–12 credit union executives from across the country.
The EAP featured professionally moderated working sessions, discussion on being a more effective leader, and recreation options for the panel to review. The panel was brought together to find ways to improve the current IWS program for credit union members. For credit unions who offer the IWS option on auto lending, their members receive better coverage, pay less for warranty insurance than they would at the dealerships, and receive better care than other warranty programs.
“This is an exciting opportunity for me and Belvoir Federal to gain exposure in the IWS platform along with other top credit union executives. We are always looking for ways to improve our partnerships with vendors so we can provide a better experience for our members,” stated Patricia. IWS began offering Vehicle Service Agreements and Mechanical Breakdown Insurance to credit unions in 1991.
