Belvoir Federal donates $2,200 to World Council of Credit Union Relief Fund for victims in Nepal earthquake

WOODBRIDGE, VA (May 29, 2015) — Belvoir Federal Credit Union donated $2,200 to the World Council of Credit Union Relief Fund for the victims of the Nepal Earthquake.

Belvoir Federal employees donated $1,100 and the credit union matched their donations. The credit union also offered an outlet for members to donate funds by placing a linkable banner on their website which went directly to the World Council of Credit Union’s relief fund site.

Thousands of lives were impacted by the devastating 7.9 magnitude earthquake near Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu, on Saturday, April 25, 2015. For more information on how to assist those in need through the credit union network, visit www.woccu.org/give.
