Belvoir Federal launches ID FraudSafe for members

WOODBRIDGE, VA (June 22, 2015) — Belvoir Federal Credit Union partnered with ID FraudSafe, a Colorado Corporation, to bring members an identity theft program that monitors, detects, and when a covered member is a victim of identity theft, restores the victim to pre-theft status regardless of the type of identity fraud.

ID FraudSafe, which is compared to LifeLock and Identity Guard, offers monitoring of identity, transactions, cyber identity, and credit reports. In addition to these services, the program also provides a full-service identity resolution, reimbursement insurance, solicitation reduction, and fraud alert reminders.

George Ksenics, Belvoir Federal’s Chief Information Officer, stated, “Security is essential in today’s digital world. It is imperative for members to ensure their identity, online as well as offline, is secure and protect it as much as they would their own wallet. That’s why we at Belvoir Federal offer members a security center on our Website for members to learn how to protect themselves and their identity.”
