Capital Credit Union opens 2023 Elevate Communities applications

GREEN BAY, WI (February 9, 2023) — Capital Credit Union is now accepting applications for its Elevate Communities program. Elevate Communities assists local fire, police, and EMS organizations in upgrading or purchasing lifesaving resources. The program began in 2018 to help alleviate the financial stress and time spent by civic organizations to fundraise for necessary resources.

Since its creation, Elevate Communities has awarded $500,000 to local civic organizations, municipalities and other service organizations. Capital CU’s President and CEO, Laurie Butz, is honored to continue the tradition and live out their organization’s mission of “Doing the Right Thing”.

“Capital Credit Union wants to show our appreciation for the role service organizations play in our communities every day, and we want to ensure they have the best equipment available while doing so. This is such an impactful way for us to make a difference and help these organizations keep our communities safe. Our Elevate Communities program allows us to show how much our Capital Credit Union Employees and Members care,” Butz said.

The application period is now open thru March 31st, 2023, with awards ranging between $5,000 and $100,000. Any fire, police, and EMS organization located in Brown, Calumet, Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, Waupaca or Winnebago county is encouraged to apply.
