SPARTANBURG, SC (June 30, 2014) -- Carolina Foothills FCU, a financial cooperative headquartered in Spartanburg, S.C., has announced the following staff changes effective immedi- ately.
Amanda Peden has been promoted to Vice President of Finance, formerly serving as Vice President of Accounting. Her overall responsibilities include treasury, budgeting, tax accounting, asset and liability management and financial control activities. Originally from Charleston, S.C., Peden has been involved in the credit union movement since 1975 working with several credit unions across the state.
Terri Hendrix has been named Vice President of
Business Development & Community Engagement.
Her responsibilities include the research, develop-
ment and implementation of products/services for members of modest means and identifying and developing community partnerships and alliances to facilitate the success of those services to include select employer groups, charitable organi- zations, educators and legislators. Hendrix has spent over 22 years in the credit union movement, most recently with SC Telco FCU.
Candy Franklin has moved into the specialized role of Network and Systems Manager. Candy’s new role will be overall responsibility for maintaining computer networks, servers, operation and pro- cessing systems, and communication links. She
will manage the staff and resources dedicated to supporting office automation, hardware and end-user equipment, network and systems security and database administration. She began her career at Carolina Foothills in 1995 as a teller and has held several managerial positions through her career.
