Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union named a 2026 Best Place to Work for Women

Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union has been recognized as one of the 2026 Best Places to Work for Women by Best Companies Group in partnership with BridgeTower Media, earning national recognition for its commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace where women are empowered to grow, lead, and succeed.

The Best Places to Work for Women program is a prestigious, survey-based competition that evaluates organizations across the United States based on employee feedback. Companies are assessed on workplace culture, leadership, opportunities for advancement, benefits, communication, and overall employee experience, with particular emphasis on the experiences of women in the workforce. Winners are selected through an independent analysis comparing survey results across participating organizations nationwide.

For Carolina Trust, the recognition reflects years of intentional investment in its people and culture.

"Receiving this recognition is especially meaningful because it comes directly from the voices on our employees,” said Tim Carlisle, President & CEO. “Creating a workplace where women have equal opportunities to lead, innovate, and advance isn’t simply the right thing to do—it’s a business imperative. Diverse perspectives make us stronger, drive better decisions, and ultimately allow us to serve our members and communities more effectively. We remain committed to building a culture where every employee is respected, empowered, and equipped to reach their full potential, regardless of gender."

Carolina Trust has continued to invest in programs, policies, and leadership development initiatives designed to support work-life balance, career advancement, professional development, and an inclusive workplace where all employees have the opportunity to thrive.

"This recognition didn't happen by accident," said Jessica Wilson, Chief Development Officer. "We have made a conscious and intentional effort to develop policies, benefits, and leadership practices that support women throughout every stage of their careers while ensuring equality across our organization. From professional development opportunities and flexible workplace practices to cultivating female leaders at every level, we've focused on creating an environment where every employee feels valued, heard, and empowered to succeed. We're proud of the culture we've built, but we're equally committed to continuing to evolve and raise the bar."

The award adds to Carolina Trust's growing list of workplace honors and reinforces the credit union's belief that exceptional employee experiences translate into exceptional member experiences.

As Carolina Trust continues to grow, its leadership remains focused on cultivating a workplace where inclusion, collaboration, and opportunity are more than values—they are lived experiences that strengthen the organization, its employees, and the communities it serves.
