New Responsibilities Reflect Rapid Growth of CO-OP

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (July 27, 2012) – Caroline Willard has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Markets and Strategy, at CO-OP Financial Services, reporting to Stan Hollen, President/CEO.

“Over the past several years we have had dramatic growth in the scope of operations of CO-OP Financial Services,” said Hollen. “Caroline’s promotion and new responsibilities reflect the needs of the organization to respond to that growth, as well as recognizing her contribution to the great opportunities we now have to serve the credit union movement.”

In her new post, Willard’s duties include strategic planning, product development, marketing and market research, and the company’s push into emerging technologies. Beyond CO-OP Financial Services, Willard also currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES).

Willard has more than 25 years of marketing and strategic planning experience, half of which has been in the credit union movement. She joined CO-OP Financial Services in July 2006 as Vice President, Corporate Development. In 2008, she was promoted to Senior Vice President, Business Development and Marketing, a post that included responsibility for the company’s 22-member relationship management team and the client services department.

Prior to CO-OP Financial Services, Willard spent five years on the executive team of American First Credit Union in La Habra, Calif.
