WAYNESBORO, VA: DuPont Community Credit Union (DCCU) recently announced that Carrie Walters of Staunton has been promoted to Retail Branch Manager of the credit union’s Community Way Office in Staunton.

“We are pleased to have Carrie join DCCU’s management team as our Community Way Branch Manager,” said Barry Smith, DCCU Vice President of Retail Services. “Carrie is well qualified to take on this new role, and I am confident she will continue to provide excellent service to our Members at the our Community Way Office.”

Mrs. Walters has been with DCCU for eight years, serving in the past as, Teller, Member Services Executive, Mortgage Originator, and most recently as Assistant Branch Manager for the Community Way Office. She is working towards a Certificate in Leadership and Supervision and Associates Degree in Business Management from Blue Ridge Community College. Mrs. Walters lives in Mint Spring with her husband, David, and they have one son.
