Case Credit Union Sponsors the Greater Lansing Area Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Holiday Commission Annual Essay Contest

Lansing,MI– 11/15/12 – CASE Credit Union is pleased to sponsor this year’s MLK Holiday Commission’s Annual Essay Contest. This contest is open to all 6th – 11th grade students in the Greater Lansing Area. Students must prepare an essay discussing this year’s theme: Moving the Dream Forward in Pursuit of Truth, Justice and Compassion.  First prize is $500, second prize is $350 and third prize is $150.

The Commission is guided by Dr. King’s teachings and philosophy of love, tolerance, and nonviolence. It strives for social improvement inLansing, helping communities and organization achieve new levels of leadership and public service.

To obtain eligibility information and the application interested individuals can visit CASE’s website http://www.casecu.org/ and click on Education and then Scholarships. Applications must be postmarked by November, 30, 2012.
