Amanda Edwards, senior vice president operations, has been with Centra for 22 years. Edwards has been in numerous positions with the credit union, ranging from member representative to branch manager, working up to her most recent role as vice president deposit operations. This role included overall leadership and support of Centra’s strategic direction while supporting other departments within the organization. Her new role adds oversight and direction of consumer loan operations.

“I am grateful to be part of such a wonderful organization with a long legacy of caring Team Members committed to the credit union difference of ‘People Helping People,’” Edwards said. “I am very appreciative of this new opportunity and look forward to the continued growth and success of the credit union.”

Prior to joining Centra, Bailey held various positions in broadcast news. Her new role adds oversight and strategic leadership to Centra’s Member Experience department as well.

“Working for an organization focused on our Members is incredibly rewarding and I’m excited to work more directly on ensuring we’re delivering the experiences they expect and need,” Senior Vice President Marketing Chrissy Bailey says. “I’m honored to join Centra’s senior leadership team and eager to continue contributing to the success of the Credit Union and our Members.”

Christy Lee, senior vice president retail, has been with Centra for 15 years and in the credit union industry for 29. Since starting her career at Centra, Lee has held numerous roles including branch manager and assistant vice president of southern Indiana. Lee’s most recent role as vice president retail sales & service southern region included the direction and support for nine of Centra’s southern locations. This new role brings all 24 Centra locations under Lee’s oversight, as well as Centra’s Contact Center and newly created digital branch.

“I just celebrated 15 years with Centra in October, and retail has definitely changed throughout the years,” Lee said. “Achieving SVP of Retail and leading a retail transformation is an exciting opportunity for me to guide my teams through the shift to ‘Creating Member Value’ and to align retail to focus on what is really important, which is helping our members achieve financial success.” Lee went on to say that Centra’s “retail transformation won’t be complete until we are each Member’s go-to person for all their banking needs.”

Stephanie Cunningham, senior vice president risk management, has been with Centra for six years and in the banking industry for 19. Prior to Centra, Cunningham held many roles throughout her career including teller, loan officer, and compliance specialist at Ameriana Bank (now known as First Merchants Bank).
