CEO quarterly videos another tool for member education

ALEXANDRIA, VA (October 16, 2014) — To enhance member education efforts, Charlotte Cash, president/CEO of CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union, is engaging members by producing quarterly videos on various subjects of financial interest to members.

“When I first came to CommonWealth One, I learned right away that the credit union’s success was based on a top level commitment to member service and member education,” Charlotte Cash said.

“When CommonWealth One was significantly smaller, former CEO Kathryn Coleman would sometimes meet with individual members to resolve various issues. Today, because the credit union has grown exponentially, I achieve that same effect by addressing topics of financial benefit to members through a quarterly video I record that’s available on our website, cofcu.org,” she added.

Also, there’s an “Ask Charlotte” link on CommonWealth One’s homepage through which members can send her an email on any subject of concern.

Members have direct access to Cash through this email link. “The emails come directly to me, and I read each and every one. Open communication is the best way to improve our service, and I welcome hearing from our members to help resolve their concerns,” she said. She noted, too, that many of the comments she receives are compliments on CommonWealth One’s performance.
